Celebrating Dr. Suess's Birthday

On March 2nd, the 4th and 5th graders enjoyed reading a variety of Dr. Suess books to the 1st graders. Afterwards we created a "Foot Book" of our own! My Purpose with the Blog

Since I am currently not in a classroom, I'd like to share what I would do with this blog.

• Share projects, field trips, and important news going on in our classroom with parents (I'll be using pictures from when I was teaching in Indiana).
• Include helpful websites for students to practice math and reading skills.

Eventually, when I am teaching again I would also like to use a blog for posting homework and incorporating it into literature circle discussions. I might even run a book club project to include parents.
